Garry Lee Lamb, 67, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 7, 1955 in Daviess County to the late Jerry and Mary Helen Whistle Lamb. He retired from Owensboro Public Schools where he worked as a custodian.
In addition to his parents, Garry was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Kay Lewis.
Surviving are his oldest daughter, Carolyn Roberts and her husband, David and their daughter, Bethany Roberts; his youngest daughter, Melissa Meyer and her husband, Joshua, and their children, Andrew Meyer and Sadie Dale Meyer; sisters, Rita Wilson of Owensboro, Judy and Charles Lewis of Owensboro; brother, Steven and Joyce Lamb of Utica; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Little Flock Holiness Church, 5217 Ashbyburg Road, Owensboro. Burial will follow in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the church. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
