Carolyn Sue Jones Latham 75, of Island, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Carolyn Sue Hendricks was born June 21, 1947 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late John Thomas and Edna Frances Ruby Hendricks and was married to Delbert Lee “D.J.” Jones until his death December 21, 1990. Sue was a homemaker and member of Buttonsberry Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching both Lifetime and Hallmark movies, caring for her cats, and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her great grandsons.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Jones (Darlene) of Island; a daughter, Crystal Jones of Island; three grandchildren, Travis Ray Wilson (Tiffany), Jessica Nichole Cook (Ian), and Thomas Lee Jones (Sarah Maglinger); two great grandsons, John-Weston Cook and Sawyer Cook; a brother, Jerry Hendricks (Carmaline) of Louisiana; and two sisters, Lou Mincy of Calhoun and Mary Lee Shocklee (Duane) of Livermore.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Tony Boyken officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Sue’s family from 10:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Calhoun.
