GREENVILLE, KY., Margie Nell Hancock, 79, of Greenville passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Muhlenberg County on July 24, 1943 the daughter of the late Jack Bivins and Mable Bivins. Margie attended Landmark Assembly of God. Margie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to shop and go to the boat.
In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her first husband Estil Daugherty, her sons Michael Daugherty and Jamie Hancock, a grandson Estil Daugherty, a brother Virgil Bivins, and a sister Myrtle Skalicky.
Margie is survived by her husband Pastor Larry Hancock of Greenville, 2 sons Cary Daugherty of Greenville, and Tommy (Annie) Daugherty of Bowling Green, 1 stepson Terry Culaper of Shelbyville, IN., 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with Pastor Shane Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Landmark Cemetery in Greenville.
