BROWDER – Rodney Allen Lear, 56, of Browder, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2:55AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Lear was born May 16, 1966 in Greenville. He loved riding his motorcycle, helping coach Special Olympics, fishing, binge watching tv, and visiting with friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hueston and Linda Dickerson; and paternal grandparents, Robert, and Thelma Lear.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Knight Lear; 6 children, Hannah Daughtery, John Buchanan, Josh Lear, Elizah Groves, Emmali Lear, and Timmy Buchanan; 12 grandchildren; nephews, Ethan Gaines, and Aden Gaines; sister, Lisa (Alton) Gaines; father, Wayne (Reba) Lear; and mother, Patsy Lear.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Heltsley officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
