GREENVILLE – Carolyn Sue Sigers Bard, 64, of Greenville, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 5:30AM at her residence in Greenville. Mrs. Bard was born June 3, 1958 in Greenville, Ky. She was a retired Deputy Jailer for the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, and a member of Joines Chapel Church. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandkids, and going out to eat with her family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William “Rebel” Ralph Sigers; second husband, Clarence “Kitty” Bard; parents, Raymond and Margie Lear; and sisters, Joyce Sigers, and Phyllis Tyler.
She is survived by her son, Dewayne (Carrie Beth) Sigers; daughter, Rebecca (Jeff) Rose; grandchildren, Skylar Daugherty, Zack Sigers, Jayden Sigers, Gabe Masden, Gavin Masden, Brooklyn Rose, Lexie Rose, Rayleigh Rose, and Hunter Rose; brother, Jimmy Lear; sister, Betty Lear; brother-in-law, Doug Sigers; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Johnston Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00- 8:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
