He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, watching NASCAR, and playing cards but most of all he loved spending time with his family
He also was preceded in death by his two daughters, Kaitlin Ann Ferguson and Mary Katherine Ferguson; and a brother in law, Carl “Rusty” Wagner.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Angie Ferguson; four sons, Gregory (April) Ferguson, Travis Ferguson and Jerry (Kemberly) Boone all of Owensboro, and Garrett (Ashley) Ferguson of Maceo; one daughter, Kristie Layson of Owensboro; 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Molly Wagner and Brenda (Mike) Fulkerson, both of Owensboro, and Connie (Paul) Farmer of Maceo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 7 pm, and after noon on Wednesday the funeral home.
