Charles “Bummie” Harrison, Sr., 75, of Owensboro died Saturday, December 8, 2018 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Muhlenberg County on May 20, 1943 to the late Marion Whitfield Harrison and Nervie May Stanley Harrison. He was a Baptist and had worked at Kevco. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gladys, Ruby, Irene, Betty, Wendel, Wayne, and William Issac.
Survivors include his companion, Martha Harrison; two sons, Mark Harrison and his wife, Lelia, and Charles Harrison and his wife, Kathy; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Jewel; three brothers, Kirkwood Harrison, Gayle Harrison and his wife, Sharon, and Jamie Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.
