
Julia Ann “Judy” Parker, 78, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born April 1, 1940, in Elsworth, Illinois and was a homemaker. Judy was of the Baptist faith and was a wonderful mother and grandmother and enjoyed cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Seaton, and adoptive father and her mother, R. D. and Gola Basham Whittinghill, and two sisters, Dorothy Henry and Dollye Reynolds.
Judy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don Parker, her children, Pam Anderson and husband Aaron of Owensboro, Sandy Bowers and husband Mark of Beechmont, Scott Parker of Owensboro, and Jason Parker and wife Jennie of Owensboro, five grandchildren, Tim Bowers, Jessica Midkiff, Seaton Parker, Braedon Parker, and Kolebyrne Parker, one great-grandchild, Corbin Bowers, two sisters, Gladys Clanton of Nashville, Tennessee and Betty Belcher and husband Harold of Mt. Sterling, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Julia Ann Parker will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 15, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. The burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
