Obituary
Ben Boswell, 73, of Owensboro, died Friday, December 14, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born November 11, 1945 in Hartford, Kentucky. Ben was retired from Southwire, a member of Third Baptist Church and was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, golfing, photography, and UK Basketball. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Griffin Boswell, wife, Joan Boswell, and grandson, Cooper Thomas Boswell.
Survivors include two sons; Robert (Wendy) Boswell, Joseph (Amy) Boswell; his mother, Freda Boswell; his companion, Suzette Austin, his sister, Teresa (Jimmy) Handley; six grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Hayden, Ella, Zane, Norah; three nephews, Jeremy, Jared, and Josh Handley.
Services will be 11:00 on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 on Friday, December 21, 2018 and after 10:00 Saturday at the funeral home.
