Theresa “Terri” Lynnette Sheffer, age 56 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away March 25, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Jasper Co., IN on May 11, 1966, daughter of the late Robert Sheffer and Ruth Campbell Babcock. Terri participated and supported Breckinridge County Relay for Life and was an associate member of Hardinsburg VFW Post 5831.She started her day with a cup of coffee and Bargain Barn, followed by CMT. She was very outgoing and enjoyed her work at Kwik Korner. She was one of the rare people who still liked to write and receive letters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jeff Babcock and Raymond Raney.
Terri is survived by 2 children: Chris Sheffer (Sarah Carman) and Brittney Waddell of Hardinsburg, KY
3 grandchildren: Mikaela, Lilli and Addi Carman
7 brothers and sisters: Larry Raney, Ronnie Raney, Peggy Warren and Nancy Lenoir of Alabama; Steve Sheffer of Indiana; Lynn Raney of Hardinsburg, KY and Sherry Norton of Garfield, KY
many nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 3 – 5 PM with cremation to follow. The family requests that you do not wear black to the visitation – they want to celebrate Terri, not mourn her.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to the Terri Sheffer Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home to assist with expenses.
