Janie Sue McClellan, 73, of Owensboro, passed away March 18, 2023. She was born February 5, 1950, in Daviess County to the late George and Ella Marie Craig. Janie had a big heart, was loving, kind, and would do anything for anyone. She was beautiful both inside and out. She had a knack for being a great cook and enjoyed making homemade meals for her family. Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Alan McClellan and son, Jake “Jakie” Weedman.
She is survived by sons, Danny (Maria) Roten and David Roten; daughters, Janie Roten and Caroline Roten; seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary (Roy) Baize.
The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Green Briar Baptist Church Cemetery.
