Charles Lee Nottingham, age 85 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away April 19, 2023 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Breckinridge County on May 10, 1937, son of the late Raymond Pierce and Della Smiley Nottingham. Charles was a member and former trustee of Fairview United Methodist Church and a Good Samaritan Center volunteer. He retired from Southern Standard Carton Company. He enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard and fishing. He loved watching sports and old westerns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Alene Nottingham and his daughter Cynthia Lynn Nottingham.
Charles is survived by 2 sons – Joe (Vicky) Nottingham and John Thomas Nottingham of Hardinsburg, KY
4 grandchildren – Kerri Ann Nottingham, Jonni Lee Nottingham, Aimee Shelton and Jordan Thomas Nottingham
1 brother – Floyd Thomas Nottingham of Pleasure Ridge Park, KY
2 sisters – Virginia Mae Armstrong of Grayson County and Mary Ann Hart of Harned, KY
several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1 PM with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday. All times are central.
