GREENVILLE, KY., Margaret Mae Johnson, 93, of Greenville passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Riversbend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, KY. She was born in Central City on September 17, 1929 the daughter of Clark Rickard and Della Wilkins Rickard. She was a member of Greenville First Baptist Church and she was a registered nurse working at Muhlenberg Community Hospital for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James “Jimmy” Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter Libby (Don) Spears of Greenville.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM officiated by Mike Roll. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
