Cynthia Jo Reynolds Bartley, 64, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Daviess County on July 20, 1954 to Betty Ballard Reynolds and the late Marvin Reynolds. Cindy was an Owensboro Catholic High School Graduate and received her Associates degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College. She was a registered nurse at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital where she worked primarily in the emergency room as a charge nurse and later, she became a certified flight nurse. Cindy went on to work at Convenient Care and was currently employed at the Call Center for the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Cindy was a lifetime member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She enjoyed photography, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. Cindy especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her father, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin “Mogey” Reynolds, Jr.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dennis Bartley, her children: Nathan (Jessica) Bartley of Lexington, Kentucky, and Adam (Denise) Bartley of Owensboro, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Alexis Payne, Hannah Haley, Jolie Deloach, Vance Bartley, and Adria Bartley; her siblings, Janice (Dr. William Eric) Wilson of Linton, Indiana, Wayne Reynolds, Jackie Bivens, Laurie Drake, all of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, with Father Mike Clark officiating. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, and again from 8:00 am to 9:30 am Saturday at the funeral home. Prayers will be 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
