GREENVILLE – Bro. Tommy Gene Kidd, 48, of Greenville died Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Bro. Kidd was born September 8, 1974 in Floyd County, KY. He was an Electronics Tech Supervisor for Green River Correctional Complex and a Minister for Corley Chapel General Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Kidd; and grandparents, Perlis Akers, Betty Terry, and Allen and Cindy Kidd.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy Jones Kidd; daughter, Emily (Mark) Kidd; grandson, Antonio Carter; mother, Marsha Akers; brother, Mickie Kidd; mothers and fathers-in-law, Kenney and Regina Crick, and J.W. and Kim Jones; sister-in-law, Chelsey (Cody) Reeves; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 12:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Darren Pentecost officiating, assisted by Bro. Joe Knight.
