GREENVILLE, KY., Robert Lewis Shenfish, 57, of Greenville passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama on February 11, 1966 the son of the late Kenneth Leroy Shenfish and Edna Hoffman Shenfish. He was retired from the United States Navy and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to play golf.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy La Fay Dukeminier of Greenville, a stepdaughter Donna (Sergio) Sanchez of Athens, AL., 2 stepsons Roger (Gwen) Borden of Decatur, AL and Jimmy Borden of Decatur, AL., 8 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, a brother Jimmy (Terry) Shenfish of Florida, 3 sisters Debra Shenfish Dinon of Athens, AL., Cindy Cole of TN., and Valerie Shenfish of Athens, AL.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with Rev. Mike Graber officiating. Burial with military honors will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
