Edna Mae Nicely, 84, of Owensboro, died on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Louisiana. She was born on February 18, 1934 to the late Raymond Whistle and Mary Eliza Thomas Whistle. She retired from General Electric and was a member of Harvest Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Bernadine Barnett and Juanita Moore; and a brother, Donald Whistle.
Survivors include her sons, Randall Nicely, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl, of LaPlace, LA and Kenneth Ray Nicely and his wife, Pat, of Weleska, GA; a granddaughter, Misty Michelle Nicely; and two great-grandchildren, Austin Nicely and Colton Keelin.
Services will be at 1:00pm on Monday, January 14, 2019 at James H Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00pm until 6:00pm and on Monday from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
