Alice Carol Johnson, 72, of Owensboro, passed away January 9, 2019. She was born in Daviess County on May 7, 1946 to the late Homer and Bertha Robbins. Alice enjoyed listening to Christmas music, but found true joy with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also liked to feed birds and reading Danielle Steel novels.
Alice was also preceded in death by a son, William Aaron Johnson and two sisters, Sharon Beane and Joyce Davis.
She is survived by a son, Eric Miller; daughters, Andrea (David) Howard and Amy Royal; grandchildren, Adam Miller, Zachary Miller, Gabby Howard, Bella Howard, Alicen Royal, William, Alexis, Aaron, Abigail; great-grandchildren, Ava, Lelia, Adela, Rosie, Marston, Zora; brothers, Gene (Janice) Robbins, David (Margaret) Robbins, and Allen (Linda) Robbins, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow the service at Macedonia Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehab, Redbanks of Henderson and St. Anthony Hospice for their exceptional care of Ms. Johnson and the family throughout the years.
