Mary Thelma Clark

August 22, 1930 - January 14, 2019

Mary Thelma Clark, 88, of Owensboro, passed away from Alzheimer’s Disease on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Carmel Home. She was born on August 22, 1930 in Waverly, Kentucky to the late Jesse Joseph & Pearl Marie Thomas. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Mary worked as a childcare provider and also she and her husband owned Foy Paint and Wallpaper. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Clark; brothers, Jesse, Jerome, Hilary, Eugene, and William Thomas; and a sister, Virginia Payne Raley.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Charles Dennis Clark; daughter, Dianne (Anthony) White; son, Denny Clark; two grandchildren, Beth (Jarett) Martin, Travis (Hannah) White and four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ed Thomas, Ralph (Judy) Thomas, Richard (Dorothy) Thomas, Len (Linda) Thomas; two sisters, Rosetta (Dennis) Funsch and Rita (Jody) Ballard; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory officiated by Father Mike Clark. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation is after 9:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
