Roosevelt "Bubba" Jackson, Jr.

January 9, 1957 - January 19, 2019

Roosevelt “Bubba” Jackson, Jr., 62, of Owensboro, passed away while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Rockport, IN to Roosevelt Jackson, Sr. and Dorothy Jackson Green. Bubba accepted the Lord at an early age and joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He was a hard worker and loved being outdoors. Bubba worked in the maintenance department for the Owensboro Housing Authority. He enjoyed music, dancing, beer and playing horseshoes and cards. Bubba was a friend to everyone and loved people, especially his family. He was preceded in death by his father, and step-father, William Greene.

Bubba is survived by his wife, Cordelia Parm Jackson; mother, Dorothy Green; children, Love Basham, Teresa Jefferson of Memphis, TN, David Jackson (Charla), Tilina Fowler (Chris) of Phoenix, AZ, Bridget Nichols, Katrina Parm, Bobby Parm (Zelvitta) and Billy Parm; twenty-five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janice Owen, Vicky Taylor and Brenda Moorman (John) of Sacramento, CA; three brothers, Ronnie Jackson of Evansville, IN, Dennis Jackson, and Tony Jackson (Shelia) both of Owensboro, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Bubba will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Clarence Tapp will officiate.
