
GREENVILLE, KY., Regina Kay Lear, 74, of Greenville passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. She was born in Princeton, Indiana on June 29, 1949 the daughter of Albert Franklin Banks and Ruth Laverne Mayhall Banks. She was a nurse’s aide and medical technician at Maple Health and Rehab and was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons Elgan Franklin Lear and Dennis Earl Lear, and a brother Larry Banks.
She is survived by her son David (Missy) Lear of Greenville, 3 grandchildren Nathen (Celai) Lear, Chris (Autumn White) Lear, Landon Lear, 2 great grandchildren Abby Lear and Kenton Lear, and her ex-husband Elgan Earl (Judy) Lear of Greenville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville and on Monday, August 21 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral at Gary’s.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Bro. Darren Pentecost with burial to follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
