Curtiss R. Clark, 67, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Clark was born June 25, 1951 in Owensboro to the late George Clark and Mirl Payne Clark. Curtiss grew up in Owensboro and graduated from Daviess County High School in 1969 and knew just about everyone. He was employed at WR Grace and most recently at Lowes. Curtiss was a familiar face on the golf course and an avid fan of both UK basketball and the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Mitchell Clark and an infant sister, Diana Clark, also his brother, Donald Clark.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Susie Payne Clark of Owensboro; son, Jason Clark and wife Tanya; daughters, Jamie and Sara Clark; brothers, James Clark (Francis), Wayne Clark (Patsy), Darriel Clark (Marilyn), and Dennis Clark (Mary Susan); nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Curtiss Clark will be 10:00 am Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 till 7 and Saturday after 9:00.
