DRAKESBORO – Donna Marie Pendley, 63, of Drakesboro, died Saturday, September 30, 2023. Mrs. Pendley was born November 20, 1959, in LA County, California. She worked in the school cafeterias for over 25 years. She had a servant heart and always put others first. Her greatest love was her family. When she wasn’t traveling to watch her children and grandchildren in baseball, softball, rodeo, soccer, and motocross — she loved gathering together for family dinners. She was a member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Renfrow Lambert and Donald Lambert; and husband of 40 years Jimmy Ray Pendley.
She is survived by her son – Jeremy (Crystal) Pendley of White Plains; daughter – Erica Pendley Adams of Drakesboro; daughter Maryanna (Clint) Moryl of Benton; grandchildren Trinity Pierpoint, Trenton Pierpoint, Jaycee Pendley, Hailee Pendley, Braylee Moryl, Daylon Pendley, and Jentri Moryl ; two great-grandchildren Kyesen Tabb and Kinslee Tabb; sisters Freda Sue Wells and Anita Burden; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11AM at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Greg Brooks officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City and Wednesday from 8-11AM at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church.
