Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Barr Bell, 2 grandchildren, Tony Bell and Justin Barr, and his sister, Jeannie Barr Porreca.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Betty Mullen Barr, his children, Steven (Darlene) Charles Barr of Owensboro, Cynthia Barr Bromley of California, Paula (Brad) Barr Martin of Owensboro, one step-daughter, Dorothy (Robert) Lomax of Owensboro, his brother James “Buddy” (Ethel) Barr of Washington State, his sister, Marjorie (Glenn) Darlands of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.
