Jennifer “Paige” Walker Higdon, 56, of Owensboro, Kentucky, went home to be with her Lord on October 13, 2023. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1967 to Charlie and Ann Walker. She was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She was a motherly presence to dozens of her children’s friends and loved them all like her own. Paige graduated as a Registered Nurse and spent over two decades passionately serving the patients of her community.
Paige was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Walker and sister, J’Nese West.
She is survived by her husband Shawn Higdon; daughters, Heather Tromble, Allison (Wayne) McElvain and Sarah Tromble; sons, Zachary and Jordan Higdon; grandsons Chance and Cooper McElvain, all of Owensboro, KY; her mother, Ann Walker; sister and brother, Janet and Jay (Debbie) Walker; aunt, Dian Jordan; uncle, Bill Neese; and a host of nieces and nephews, who she loved deeply.
A private celebration of life will be held in her honor when the leaves begin to change, her favorite time of year.
There weren’t many things she loved more in life than her grandson, Cooper and her dogs, Harley and Toby.
