David H. Raley, 80, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Newman, Kentucky on December 19, 1938 to the late Joseph Eloy Raley and Ada Beatrice Cecil Raley. David was retired from Whirlpool where he worked for 37 years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. David enjoyed wood craftwork, fishing, and was an avid traveler.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Todd Raley, longtime companion, Norma Bridgemon, 6 brothers, and 1 sister.
David is survived by his children, Gary Raley of Owensboro, Jeff (Lisa) Raley of Newman, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, his brother, Richard Bruce Raley of Henderson, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with Father Jegin Puthenparuckal officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory and again from 8:00 am to 10:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Prayers will be 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
