Dorothy Mae Hendricks, 89 in Owensboro passed away Thursday February 14, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on September 25, 1929. She retired from Bon Harbor Nursing Home. She spent most of her life caring for others. Dorothy will be dearly missed.
Preceded her in death, her husband Clifford D. Hendricks, her children, Kimberly M. Brackett and Shelia A. Simpson.
She is survived by her children, Brenda C. Wilkes (Kenneth) of Philpot, Ky, Wenonah Cheryl Howard (Benny) of Philpot, Ky, Judy L. Anderson (Rocky) of Calhoun, Ky, Allan D. Hendricks (Vickie) of Owensboro, Ky, Deborah K. Taylor (Kenneth) deceased of Owensboro Ky, Patricia D. Rickard (Mike) of Donaldsonville, Georgia, Cathy E. Hendricks of Owensboro, Ky, Charles D. Hendricks of Iota, Louisiana, Christopher B. Hendricks (Janice) of Reynolds Station, KY and Son-in-law John Brackett of Calhoun, Ky. Dorothy has 11 children, 30 grandchildren, and 42 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home. Visitation is from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, February, 18, 2019 and also 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at RoseHill Cemetery in Owensboro, Kentucky.
