Daniel “Danny” Preston Bell, 72, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at his home. He was born May 17, 1951 in Daviess County to the late Benjamin and Lena Mae Smith Bell. Danny retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he worked as a mail carrier. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Edward Bell and Esther Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Christina L. Bradley Bell; children, Cassandra Allen (Brian) and Andrew D. Bell; stepdaughter, Stephanie Lee Wilson (Todd); seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Carrol Bell and Martha Wallace.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Cecil Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Cates Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
