With a heavy heart and deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beautiful angel on December 19, 2023 at Owensboro Health. She was born on June 25, 1982 in Owensboro, her parents were Kenneth Wayne and Jenny Newton. She attended Owensboro High Schools, class of 2000. She worked as a dental assistant for 20 years.
Amber loved having a good time with family and friends. She loved her children so much and her fur-babies and turtle. Amber loved music and going to concerts, traveling with family and friends, Ohio State football and recently loved to cook new recipes and share them.
A few summers ago she went “chasing waterfalls” with her best friends, Jessica and Tish. Many friends were there for her during her illness, Jamie, Kelsey, Braxton, Julieanna, Will, Kortni, Bobby and RayRay. She was loved.
Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bryant and Wanda Forrester and Ken and Carolyn Newton, uncle, Jeff Newton and her unborn son Brayden (2006).
Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Kenneth Wayne and Jennifer Newton; her children, Madelyn Cook and Talon Janes; sister, Melissa Newton of Lexington ; aunts and uncles, Ronnie (Marilyn) Forrester, Kenny (Diane) Forrester, Debbie (John) Stelmach and Rhonda (Tony) Clouse; great aunt, Kathy (Andy) Pike and many cousins. She was our sunshine and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
