Patricia Elaine Bodnar, 75, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born November 25, 1943, in Daviess County, to the late William and Margaret Wood Trodglen. Patricia graduated from Brescia University with degrees in Sociology and Psychology. She worked as a caregiver for Wendell Foster and retired from Carmel Home. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and crafts, which she loved to share with friends and family.
She was also preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Mihaly Bodnar; and her sister, Charlotte Schwallie.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Mikah Bodnar and Gail Bodnar both of Owensboro; three sons, Steven (Misty Richmond) Bodnar of Cincinnati, Lewis (Kayla) Bodnar of Owensboro, and Jesse (Kumiko) Bodnar of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; seven grandkids; and two great grandkids.
The memorial service for Patricia Bodnar will be Noon Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 11 a.m. till time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
