Donna Howe, 64, of Shelbyville, Ky, formerly of Pleasant Ridge, passed away February 22, 2019 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. Donna was born August 9, 1954 in Owensboro, to the late Harold and Helen Boone. Donna graduate from Daviess County High School in 1972. She was a simple lady who worked hard. Donna worked at the Cigar Factory until they closed their doors and then worked at K-Mart, was a cook at Cravens Elementary and then worked at Electrolux for 24 years. She enjoyed UK Basketball and loved spending time with her family.
Donna was also preceded in death by two brothers, Denny Boone and Doug Boone.
She is survived by a daughter, Stacy Howe (Amanda Wilson) of Shelbyville; son, Brian Howe (Laurie) of Fisherville; grandchildren, Emma and Drake Howe of Fisherville; step-grandchildren, Anya and Lucas Anderson of Shelbyville; sisters, Ruth Elmore (Benny) and Gayle Stovall; brother, Paul Ray Boone (Sheri) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Bells Run Cemetery.
