Barbara Mae Kellems Tindle, 75, of Owensboro, passed away Feb. 19, 2019 at Twin Rivers Nursing Home. She was born June 11, 1943 in Hancock County to the late Waldo and Clara Craft Tindle. Barbara loved all animals and will be remembered as someone who always spoke her mind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Powers Jr.; and her son, David Powers.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Mary K. “Kathy” Williams, of Owensboro, Lanita Powers, of Owensboro, and Norma Powers of Peoria, IL; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
The funeral service will be 12pm Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at Rosehill Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10pm until 12 pm Monday at the funeral home.
