HARTFORD-Brenda Johnson, 77, of Hartford died Monday, February 19, 2024 at OHRH in Owensboro. Brenda was born in Charleston, West Virginia. She was a CNA at Signature Healthcare in Hartford and Hillcrest Nursing Home and attended Longview General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Olan Johnson; a daughter-Margaret McStoots Lee; 4 brothers-Eugene Allen, Samuel Allen, John Allen and Lewis Allen and 3 sisters-Ida Tooms, Martine Allen and Anita Allen.
Survivors include 2 sons-Brandon G. Johnson(Jen) and James R. McStoots(Anna); a brother-Michael “Mack” McStoots(Sharon); grandchildren-Summer McStoots(Cliff), Jared McStoots, Heather Ralph, Jayden, Bryson and Brandon(Boo) Johnson, Briley Hayse, Corben, Gunner and Olivia Verne; great grandchildren-Wesley & Autumn Elverd, Austin & Alice Ralph, Darin Rice “Little D”.
Services are 12 noon Friday, February 23, 2024 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Tim Moxley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Magan Community.
