Nina Faye Wright Richardson,77, of Owensboro, passed away on February 19, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born November 19, 1946, in Ohio County, to the late Jessie Nall Wright and Emma Francis Horton Wright. Faye retired from the Hampton Inn where she was a housekeeper and she attended Ridgewood Baptist Church.
Faye enjoyed reading her bible, attending church, and getting together with family.
Along with her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her siblings, Donnie Wright, Mary Mattingly, Tincy Stewart, and Alice Stewart.
Faye is survived by her children, Angie (Danny) Wilson, Kenny (Penny) Richardson, Sherry (Allen) Ward, Jerry Richardson, Amanda Richardson; grandchildren, whom she considered her own, Chace (Autumn) Ling, Easton (Jennay) Ling, Christian Roberts, and Morgan Richardson; along with her other grandchildren, Samantha (Chris) Dixon, Josh Wilson, Mikaelea (Darren) Wilson, Elizabeth (Kelsey) Richardson, Emma Richardson, Hunter Johnson, Courtney Johnson, Mikey (Mallory) Elliot, Randan (Chelsea) Ward, Raine Ward, Austin Ward, and Americus Ward; several great-grandchildren; brother, George (Sue) Wright; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Ridgewood Baptist Church, with Brother Tony Boyken. Burial to follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Ridgewood Baptist Church and again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
