Rose T. Payne, 88, of Owensboro, passed away, March 10, 2019 at Owensboro Center. She was born on September 25, 1930 in Daviess County to the late James William & Evelyn Thompson. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and retired from General Electric Co. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Payne and sister, Mary Ann Peters.
Survivors include her son; Tracy Payne; a daughter, Donna Turner; three grandchildren, Mark Turner, Cheryl Stearsman (Terry), and Aletia Robey; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday with prayers at 6:30 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.
