Ethel Lee Daugherty, 90, was born on January 15, 1934, in Butler County Kentucky. She died Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Princeton Nursing & Rehabilitation. She grew up in Richland, Indiana and lived for many years in Rockport, Indiana. Her parents were Luther and Delia Daugherty and she had three brothers and three sisters.
She later lived and worked in Owensboro, Kentucky. She worked at the Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She retired from the hospital and lived in Owensboro until moving back to Rockport, Indiana in 2020. She was placed at the Princeton Health and Rehab in December of 2021 after her third hip break.
She is survived by her son Jeff Daugherty; two grandchildren, Andrea Markham and Megan Duvall; four great-grandchildren, Chansey, Austin, Grayson and Adler; and many nieces and nephews in the Kentucky and Indiana area.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from noon until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
