Lewis “Louie” Case 70, of Central City, Kentucky was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Lewis Wayne Case, Sr. was born April 18, 1953 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Henry Beckham and Sadie Belle Vincent Case. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Case, and two sisters, Helen Case and Lorene Bruno; and two grandsons.
Lewis “Louie” Case, a man of deep faith and joyous spirit, has left a legacy of laughter and love. As the co-owner of Case Brothers Logging Company, Lewis found fulfillment in his work and the camaraderie it brought. His days were often filled with the simple pleasures of life: cookouts with his cherished family, the thrill of rabbit hunting, and the freedom of riding his 4-wheeler through the countryside he adored.
Lewis’s passion for classic country music, especially the tunes of Loretta Lynn, was well-known among his friends and family. His love for music often served as the soundtrack to the many gatherings he hosted. A devout member of the Baptist faith, Lewis’s commitment to his beliefs was evident in the way he lived his life with kindness and integrity.
Survivors include four daughters: Anna Case, Sadie Majors, Heather Case, Nikki Anderson; five sons: Lewis Case, Jr., James Case, Bryan Case, Keith Case, Jason Hamilton; four brothers: Roger Case, Sr., Henry “Buddy” Case, Hershel Case, Marvin “Duke” Case; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Danny Greene officiating. Burial will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. Friends may visit with Lewis’s family from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
