AUBURN, KY., Allean Settle Jones, 90, of Auburn passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Hospice House in Bowling Green. She was born on September 10, 1933 in Clifty the daughter of Richard Settle and Jimmie Welborn Settle. She had worked as a factory worker at Rockwell International in Russellville. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and going out to eat.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers and one sister.
She is survived by 2 sons Anthony” Tony” (Karen) Jones of Owensboro, and Jeffrey Mark (Aimee) Jones of Oakland, 1 daughter Lavonne Diane (Warren) Thomason of Auburn, 6 grandchildren Jason (Kristina) Jones, Wesley Jones, Chelsea (Kevin) Phillips, Luke Brown, Elle Brown, and Elyn Brown, 3 great grandchildren Kayla Jones, Lexi Jones, and Alivia Phillips.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral at 1:00 at Gary’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with Rev. Frankie Lee Skipworth officiating. Burial will follow in Joines Chapel Cemetery.
