Frank Cripps, 84, of Owensboro died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his home. He was born in Murphysboro, IL on October 14, 1934 to the late Frank Rayburn Cripps and Mollie Eason Cripps. Frank was the founder of Senior Healthcare Insurance and had helped many seniors with their insurance needs since the inception of Medicare in 1965. He was a founding member of BridgePointe Church. Frank enjoyed his time being outdoors and any activity associated with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Cripps; his brothers, Jim Cripps and Ron Cripps; and a step-son, Chad Simmons.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Vivian Simmons-Cripps; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Rick Sigler; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Gina Cripps; grandchildren, Jeff Sigler (Heather Horton), Katie Bryant (Alex), Mollie Haire (Shane), Allie Lindow (Derrick), and Edie Cripps; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Brooks Bryant, Ellie and Emmelyn Haire; and Ezra and Owen Lindow; and a sister, Mary Ladd (Doug) of Energy, IL; step-daughter, Allison Schrock (Bryan); step-daughter-in-law, Cindy Simmons; step-grandchildren, Abigail and Adam Schrock and Ann Marie and Caroline Simmons.
Services will be at 10:30am on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at James H Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00pm until 7:00pm and on Tuesday from 9:00am until 10:30am at the funeral home.
