Mary Jeanene Gilmore Terry, 75, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born in Daviess County on May 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Virgie Coomes Gilmore; was retired from Omico Plastics; and was of the catholic faith. She enjoyed gardening, helping others, spending time with family and friends, and watching her grandchildren’s activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny L. Terry (1996); brothers, Thurman Gilmore (1994), Edward Gilmore (1996), and Dennis Gilmore (2005); and sisters, Ann Crabtree (2008) and Mary C. Terry (2015).
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dawn Terry of Philpot; grandchildren, Jamie (Ethan) Fulkerson of Owensboro, Dani Lee Terry of Philpot, and Dustin (Liz) Morris of Philpot; great-grandchildren, Saige Fulkerson and Taylor, Kaydance, and Jack Morris; brothers, Francis Gene Gilmore of Knottsville and Eldon Gilmore of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Services are 12 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory followed by burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home
