Barbara Nell Crump

Barbara Nell Crump, 85, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Owensboro Reginal Hospital. Barbara was born in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky on September 13, 1933 to the late Roy and Beulah Rainwater Plummer. Barbara retired from GE/MPD as she was employed as a factory worker for 42 years. She was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford Plummer, Harold Plummer, her sisters Loreetta Ball, and Joyce Fuqua.

Barbara was survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank Crump, her sons, Mark (Marilyn) Crump, Terry Crump, her daughters, Trish (Rob) Whitaker, Debbie (Doug) Hodskins, all of Owensboro, Kentucky, 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and her sister, Sharon Jackson of Louisville, Kentucky.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 6, 2019 at Immaculate Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, and again from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Prayers will be 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
