Anthony Jerome Cecil, 75, of Hawesville passed away on July 9, 2024, at his home. He was born in Owensboro on March 15, 1949, to John William and Willie Mae Cecil. Anthony was a Vietnam veteran who enjoyed learning, gardening, fishing, and long talks with anyone who would sit and listen. He was always out and about, keeping himself busy.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Anthony Barry Cecil.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Sherri Cecil; children, Brandi Cecil-Millay, Kelli Cecil, and Robert Cecil; siblings, Barbara Carden, Larry Cecil, and Jimmy Cecil of Florida; 7 grandchildren; as well as many other loving family and friends.
