Patty Gail Clark, 68, of Owensboro passed away on July 16, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Owensboro native was born September 6, 1955, to parents Ira, Sr. and Mary Lois Embry. Patty was a devout Christian that loved God first and foremost. She was a member of Garden Green Baptist Church here in Owensboro. Patty worked at Goodwill and truly enjoyed her job, helping others, meeting new people, and quickly turning them into friends. She was a warm, loving woman, as bright as her favorite flowers, sunflowers. Quality time spent with family was cherished deeply.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Embry; sisters-in-law, Marlene Embry and Sandy Embry; brother-in-law, Roy Barnett; and niece, Sylvia Embry.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Aaron (Heather) Clark, Sarah (Teyon Matlock) Alexander, Chris (Brittany) Clark, and Kelley Clark; siblings, Wayne Embry, Ira Embry, Jr., Alice Berry, Betty Barnett, and Pam (Kevin) Green; grandchildren, Anselam, Jayden, Declan, Mahalia, Eisley, Edylette, Ezlyn, and Alyeska; her beloved fur baby, Izzy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
