Ann Revlett 75, of Island, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Babette Ann Zettl was born June 29, 1949 in Furth, Germany to the late Heinrich and Theresia Kollmann Zettl and was married to James Vinard Revlett on August 11, 1972.

Ann’s journey began across the ocean in Germany, but her story unfolded in the United States, where she established deep roots and a loving family. Throughout her career, Ann demonstrated a strong work ethic and adaptability, working in various industries. She found her niche and eventually retired from T.J. Maxx in Owensboro, where she was not only a valued employee but also a friend to many. Her colleagues remember her as someone who could always be counted on for support and camaraderie.

Ann’s interests were as varied as they were passionate. She loved any chance she got to visit the ocean and its peacefulness. She was an avid coin collector, finding great pleasure in the history and stories behind each piece she added to her collection. Gardening was another of Ann’s joys; she loved tending to her flowers, watching them bloom season after season, a testament to her nurturing spirit. Sewing was yet another skill she mastered, creating beautiful garments and keepsakes for her loved ones. Ann’s hobbies were extensions of herself, reflecting her attention to detail.

Ann was a member of the Catholic faith. Her faith guided her through life’s challenges and celebrations, and she found solace in the church.

Those who knew Ann would describe her as spirited and always willing to help. She was always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand. Ann’s legacy is one of love and compassion. Her presence was a gift to all who had the fortune to cross her path.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Jim Revlett, who died August 28, 2015.

Ann is survived by two daughters, Carmen Lewallen of Murfreesboro and Jane Dixon (David) of Christiana, Tennessee; and four grandchildren, Thomas Lewallen, Kayla Dixon, Ethan Dixon, and Lukas Dixon.
