Dell Evans 81, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation in Princeton, Kentucky. Min Dell Abrams was born March 3, 1943 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late B. Edward and Fannie Bell Whitaker Abrams.
Dell retired from Tyson in Robards, earlier worked at both York International in Madisonville and General Electric in Owensboro and was a member of Calhoun Christian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, working jigsaw puzzles, reading, and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, Dell was preceded in death by her daughter, Deanna Fay Evans and two brothers, Ben Abrams and Gene Abrams.
Dell is survived by a son, Keith Evans (Amanda Strader) of Calhoun; two grandchildren, Chase Evans (Chels) and Brandi McCarthy (Jared); 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edwin Abrams of Rumsey; a sister, Cinda Vanover of Rumsey; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Graveside services and burial will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Dell’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
