Raymond E. Stewart (Gramps), 68, a resident of Hancock County, Kentucky went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 29, 2024. He was born January 16th, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. Son of Paul Stewart Jr. and Emiko Furmitsu Stewart.
Raymond (Gramps) was a retired Master Carpenter. He was a loving Sunday school teacher. Raymond (Gramps) was very outgoing and loved to tell everyone about his Lord and Savior. Raymond (Gramps) loved his family, he loved to fish, he loved his little chihuahua, Gracie Mae and enjoyed playing with her.
Surviving Raymond (Gramps) is his loving mom Emiko Furmitsu Stewart, his loving soulmate Moe, his 2 daughters, Melissa Stewart Frost and Starlina Stewart. Siblings – Harold (Ruby) Stewart, Bob Stewart, John (Kathy) Stewart, Richard (Deborah) Stewart, Ema (William) Nicholls, Mary (Tracey) Saulsberry and Cashi Dexter. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Paul Stewart Jr.
Raymond (Gramps) is sadly missed by his soulmate, family, friends and his Gracie Mae.
His Celebration of Life will be at 2pm on August 10th, 2024 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, 967 S Chestnut Grove Rd., Lewisport, KY 42351. Visitation will be from 12pm – 2pm. Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel has been entrusted with care.
