Lisa Ann Edge Clark, 63, of Whitesville passed away August 5, 2024, surrounded by her family. Lisa was born July 6, 1961 in Whitesville to Betty Sue Edge and the late James Bernard “JB” Edge. She attended St. Mary’s grade school, graduated from Trinity High School and married her high school sweetheart, Tom Clark.
Lisa served as a nurse for many years. She lived a life of service and kindness. She was a devoted wife and mother to Ashley and Christopher. She fought cancer with courage, grace and dignity for 30 years; determined to see her children grow up and to meet her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, JB Edge.
Lisa is survived by her husband of almost 42 years, Thomas Clark; daughter Ashley (Bryan) Parker and son, Christopher (Jenni) Clark; grandchildren Kayley, Brayden and Hunter Parker and Henry, Caroline and Lucy Clark; sister Karen (Mike) Thompson, brothers Mike Edge and Steve (Lynne) Edge, along with numerous brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer a special heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Western Kentucky at the Heartford House.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky or St. Mary of the Woods.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Woods in Whitesville, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with prayers at 6:30 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville.
