William “Ben” Benjamin Howard, 42, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024,
at his home. He was born July 29, 1982, to Joe and Vickie Mattingly Howard. Ben was a
graduate of Apollo High School. He was an avid walker, sometimes walking 5-10 miles a day.
Ben loved to cook, playing video games, and collecting swords and dragons. Most of all, Ben
enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; a brother, Adam Howard; two sisters,
Kim and Kelly Howard; and his favorite fur baby, Max.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Joe and Vickie Howard; siblings, Mischelle (Brian)
Head and Michael Howard; a niece, Briley Head; a nephew, Zach Head; and several aunts,
uncles, and cousins.
