Wanda J. Robertson

Wanda J. Robertson, 92, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Daviess County on January 2, 1927 to Henry Jewell and Vera Sandefer Jewell. Wanda was retired as a Beauty Operator Beautician after 32 years. She was previous member of Curdsville Baptist Church and current member of First Baptist Church. Wanda enjoyed quilting, crocheting, painting, and especially enjoyed her family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in April of 2004, Adley B. Robertson, her brother, Lowell Jewell, sister, Regina (Berry) Wahl, and two sons-in-law, Russell Settle, and Hudinall Floyd.

Wanda is survived by her children: Henry “Bob” Robertson, II, and (Michal), of Kissimmee, Florida, Cheryle (Eddie) Floyd of Rumsey, Kentucky, Holly (Bill) Vineyard, of Maceo, Kentucky, Vickie Hofmann, of Owensboro, Kentucky, Debbie Settle of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Mishiele (Albert) Coomes, Leta (Greg) Partlow, Karen Brooks, Nisa (Scott) Harper, Rob Robertson, Steven Robertson, Ashley (Dusty) Morgan, Andy Robertson, Tracy (Pat) Alvey, Robin Clark, Michael (Kelly) Vineyard, Dawn (Rodney) Aluick, Nicole Hopkins, Russ (Anna) Settle, and Lisa Taylor; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Gary (Becky) Jewell of Denver, Colorado, and Glenola Boyle of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:00 am Friday, April 19, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, and again from 8:00 am to 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
