Connie Cessna Pruden 71, of Sacramento, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at her home in Sacramento. Connie Elaine Ellis was born September 27, 1952 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late E.C. and Loyetta Ellis, was married to Dennis Ray Cessna on March 6, 1971, until his death on October 12, 2011, and was later married to Thomas Edward Pruden on August 15, 2014.

Connie’s life was a testament to her role as a dedicated homemaker, a title she held with pride and grace. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in crafting and creating beautiful things for her family and friends. Her creativity was only surpassed by her unwavering kindness, a trait that defined her and warmed the hearts of all who knew her.

A member of the Community Church in Calhoun, Connie’s faith was an integral part of her life. She shared her love and compassion with her church family, embodying the spirit of service and fellowship.

Connie’s zest for life was evident in her hobbies and interests. She relished the moments spent with friends and family, especially when it involved her grandchildren. Connie loved being able to cheer on her grandchildren at their various sporting events. Her presence in the stands was a source of encouragement and pride for her family.

Connie will be remembered as a beacon of kindness, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched with her gentle spirit and generous heart. Connie’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Connie was preceded in death by her two sisters, Andra Towery and Belinda Pillow.

Connie is survived by her husband, Tommy Pruden; two sons, Tim Cessna (Terri) of Fairfield, Illinois and Chris Cessna (Melissa) of Sacramento; a daughter, Maisie Cessna of Owensboro; a step son, Joseph Pruden of Chicago; a step daughter, Lyndsey Marr of Bowling Green; ten grandchildren, Laurna Diesel (Andrew), Jordan Cessna, Kayla Cessna, Kendra Cessna, Thomas Cessna (Sydney), Sarah Cessna, Katie Holt (Landon), Bryant Gross (Taylor), Austin Gross, and Claire Gross; two step grandchildren, Grey Thomas Marr and Blaire Marr; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Connie’s family from 2:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Saturday and from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Musters in Calhoun.
